About the role:
We are currently looking for a representative based in the Midwest of the United States, to join our growing higher education sales team. The HE sales representative will have personal responsibility for a territory which includes four US States: Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky. They will form part of our highly collaborative North American HE sales team working to drive textbook and courseware sales, through campus visits, virtual meetings and email campaigns to lecturers, department heads and other key decision makers within higher education institutions. They will call across the curriculum from astronomy and physics through classics and engineering to psychology and statistics. They will be part of a global higher education team that publishes textbooks and courseware that matters.
Our strategy is to focus on 200 level courses and higher where we can complement and extend our research and professional publishing. We partner with authors, teachers, and students to support excellence, best practice, and affordability in teaching and learning. At Cambridge, we are working to combine the highest quality content with digital tools that support and build student learning. While working toward a digital future, we support students and instructors with print as well as digital options.
Cambridge University Press has recently acquired CogBooks – an adaptive learning platform used to create affordable, personalized on-line learning products for students in such disciplines as Biology, Physics, Psychology, History, Philosophy and more. The HE Sales Representative will be responsible for selling both Cambridge textbooks and CogBooks courseware.
