Working with one or more lawyers, you will provide legal administrative support for the legal department. You will assist in physical and electronic file organization, maintaining a diary system, scheduling, and catering of meetings, preparation of agendas and minutes, providing technical support for meetings, drafting and preparation of correspondence, legal documents and other paperwork, data entry, organization of travel arrangements and general departmental administrative support. You will also be responsible for processing payment of external counsel and consultant invoices.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
Administrative diploma
Five years of administrative support experience, preferably in the legal field
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Proficiency with Office 365
Assets:
Legal Assistant diploma
Experience with dictation transcription
Bookkeeping or invoice management experience
