Housekeeping Staff Job Description

Camp Magruder is a camp and retreat center, helping nearly 10,000 children, youth, and families make lasting memories in a spirited and engaging environment each year. Classification: Part Time, Hourly

Hours: 20-30 per week

Wages: $13.50-$17.00 per hour, depending on experience

Reports to Head of Housekeeping

Position Mission: To prepare the spaces where camp guests will reside during their stay, so that they will be warm, welcoming, healthy, and comfortable.

Regular Duties Include:

• Cleaning lodging, including: bathrooms, kitchens, and bunk beds
• Disposing of garbage
• Stocking and distributing supplies
• Sweeping and mopping

Qualifications:

• Over 18 years of age
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds
• Available weekends

Camp Magruder is a ministry of the United Methodist Church but does not limit its ministry to Christians or Christian organizations.
