Job description:
Auctioning all non-retail inventory nationwide and make money saving decisions

Building relationships with various wholesalers nationwide to sell non-retail inventory

Working closely with auction representatives and dealing with arbitration

Appraising the wholesale values for all non-retail inventory

Working closely with our dealer representatives, selling non-retail inventory to dealerships nationwide

Effectively coordinate/collaborate with multiple departments (Reconditioning, Logistics, Dealer Sales and Accounting)

Make improvements to current processes

Hit weekly targets based on assigned selling requirements

Manage vehicle inventory in Salesforce

Provide leadership and guidance, and ongoing feedback to direct reports regarding performance, productivity, work quality and adherence to the company policy and procedures

Skills and Qualifications:
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience as wholesaler in a dealership environment is considered a valuable asset, but not a requirement

Willingness to learn and work at all levels to support department’s goals

Basic Understanding of the overall automotive industry passion for automobiles and a foundational knowledge of vehicle brands, makes, models and market trends are required

Strong negotiation and leadership skills

Excellent analytical and decision-making skills

Previous experience with Salesforce and other related software’s etc. is considered an asset

Able to work flexible hours throughout the week in accordance with auctions across Canada

Self starter and ability to work independently

Strong multi-tasking skills with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
