Please note that this process will be used to staff positions in Ottawa, Ontario. We will be using the Cognitive Abilities, and Behavioural Competencies – Korn Ferry Unsupervised Internet Test, to assess applicants. We may select the top 100 candidates based on the results achieved on this assessment, who also meet the education requirements to be considered further in this staffing process. Additional candidates may be considered as needed.

Essential staffing requirements
To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements.
Education
• a satisfactory score on the CRA-approved test (General Intelligence Test – GIT 320 – Pass mark 80); or
• an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience
To be eligible, you must clearly demonstrate on your application, how you meet all the essential experience staffing requirements by providing concrete descriptions and clearly defined timeframes from which the experience was gained in all of the following:
• Experience* in handling and monitoring multiple workloads and ensuring timelines are met AND
• Experience* working in a client service team and making recommendations to clients**, senior colleagues or management AND
• Experience* communicating both verbally and in writing, with service providers or representatives on a variety of administrative requirements.
**Clients may include employees, citizens, candidates, government organizations, partners, etc. whether they are internal or external to the government or in the private sector.

Please Note: Virtual assessments can be done by phone, video conference or other means when the situation permits. During the virtual assessments, the candidate must have access to a telephone, a stable internet connection and a private area for the duration of the assessment. Some software and applications may be required to complete the assessment. It is recommended that you have access to a desktop or laptop computer during the assessments in order to be able to fully participate in the assessment stage. Applicants may not be accompanied by other persons during their assessment, unless this is necessary as part of an approved accommodation measure.
You must be available for your assessment at the scheduled time and date. Appraisals will only be postponed for exceptional circumstances, and supporting documents may be requested by the staffing committee. The staffing committee will make these decisions on a case-by-case basis. General public applicants are responsible for travel expenses (if any) incurred to attend the assessments.
