Pay rate: $18/hr

Location: Normal, IL

Responsibilities:

• Perform wide range of inspection tasks – visual, tactile, audio; may include re-packing activities.
• To inspect critical parts on a regular basis ensuring the prompt reaction in case of supplier issues detected.
• To immediately start the containment process to segregate defective parts and support countermeasures to re-establish the regular logistic flow as soon as possible.
• Inspection and validation of customer parts
• Follow prescribed work instructions
• Rework
• Re-packing

Requirements:

• Ability to interpret written work instructions
• Inspection experience preferred
• Must be willing to work different shifts
• Follow instructions with no deviation
• Excellent hand/eye coordination
• Ability to effectively communicate concerns
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
• Must be able to stand 8-12hrs per working shift.
• Must have good hearing
• Must have good vision
• Must be able to lift 25#

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift
• Overtime

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
