Description

It serves as a prime contractor for key procurement offices from each of the U.S. Department of Defense’s service branches, as well as serving a broader commercial customer base of OEMs and suppliers in a variety of industries.
Essential Functions(include but not limited to)
Accomplishes production goals by: communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results; coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; coordinating and enforcing policies and procedures; Maintains staff by orienting and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities
Scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing established production goals; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; resolving problems; program planning; execute to set milestones and scheduling
Ensure improved employee engagement by providing consistent employee coaching and development
Ability to operate in a regulated environment as it pertains to contract requirements and corporate specifications
Manage area performance measures, including visual controls and provide regular progress reports to manager
Assure ongoing 5S procedural philosophy is executed, followed and maintained
Conduct annual employee performance reviews
Uphold Capco standards and specifications
Must work independently and in a team environment
Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Must be able to display efficient problem-solving skills
Must meet Capco attendance requirements
Other Job Functions
Provide appropriate technical training as it pertains to blueprint reading and GD&T
Process monitoring, statistical process control and process capability studies
Provide process oversight and maintenance to ensure accountability for all assigned duties
Oversee and maintain plant security
Order, schedule and communicate raw material and WIP needs with management
Monitor labor and scrap costs
Must perform inspection of parts with appropriate measuring instruments
Conduct monthly inventory

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder
English proficiency
Must be 18 years of age or older
Minimum of 2 years CNC machining experience, or production assembly
Previous experience with statistical process control (SPC) and parts per million defects (PPM)
Experience with ISO requirements and documentation required
Associates Degree or 4+ years in a leadership role including Production Line Lead
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
