The project coordinator end to end involvement for product development process.
Study of the environment and working conditions of driveline components.
Validation of driveline components with stakeholders
Tracking components development process with suppliers
Preventive analysis for possible failure modes
Reporting the progress of the project
Develop control systems for a wide range of vehicles, including Internal Combustion, Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), and Hybrid vehicles, with a focus on both longitudinal and lateral dynamics.
Manage front/rear distribution in both conventional and electric vehicles, including rear differential locking torque through eDiff/eLock.
Ensure the inhibition of AWD-Disconnect commands when required due to dynamic performance.
Implement Traction Control System (TCS) and Brake Traction Control System (bTCS) for both conventional and electric vehicles, and Drag Torque Control (DTC/MSR) with a focus on removing these systems from the Braking system.
Control left/right repartition for electric vehicles (eTV) and braking torque (bTV).
Develop and manage rear wheel steering (RWS), offroad corner assist (ORCA), crab walk (CRAB), launch control, and line-lock for specific performance and maneuvering requirements.
Work on vertical dynamics control, including Damping Control System (SDC), AirSpring System, and Active Roll Control (ARC).
Develop and specify vehicle control functionalities, implement these requirements using a Model-Based Design approach, and verify control strategies through simulation and rapid prototyping
Perform control strategy basic tuning on the actual vehicle.
Automatically generate code using model compiler tools like TargetLink or Real-Time Workshop (RTW) and validate software in Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments.
Provide support in activities planning, budget definition, calibration activities, and issue management and fixing.
Key Skills Required:
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or Automation Engineering.
We are looking Automotive Engineering Experience: Prior experience in automotive engineering is essential.
Controls/SW Development: Previous experience as a Controls/SW developer, testing, or calibration engineer is required!
Software Tools Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow and TargetLink is essential?
Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with tools such as Vector CANape, CANalyzer, ETAS INCA, or equivalent!
Rapid Prototyping: Knowledge of Rapid Prototyping hardware/software environments (e.g., dSpace MicroAutoBox Etas Rapid Proto Control Desk or equivalent).
Vehicle Modeling and Simulation: Experience with vehicle modeling and simulation software packages such as VI-CarRealTime, CarSim, or equivalent.
SW/Functional Testing: Knowledge and experience in software/functional testing and Software Quality processes (e.g., Automotive SPICE SW Quality model).
Vehicle Dynamics and Powertrain Control: Understanding of vehicle dynamics and powertrain control.
We are looking for Specialized Experience: Experience in Semi-active Damping Control, Torque Vectoring, Automatic Transmission, Engine Management is a plus.
Project Management: Project management skills and tools usage, e.g., Jira or Synergy.
High Proficiency in English: A high level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) is required.
