Cardinal Health Hiring for Director, New Business Sales – Oncology & Urology (remote) at Oregon Full Time

Position Summary

The Director, New Business Sales will be responsible for expanding the Cardinal Specialty footprint within the oncology & urology markets by focusing on Community-Based practices within a defined West Coast geography. They will ensure strong market presence for Cardinal Specialty within drug distribution and technology solutions that support community oncology and urology practices. This role will partner closely with Account Executives and Account Managers to ensure retention of any new practices.

The position territory is the Western United States.

Accountabilities in Role

• New Business Acquisition
• Identify/Target, build pipeline, and close new business for newly contracted customers (VitalAlliance), maintaining a pipeline within Salesforce.com and becoming a market expert within a defined geography
• Lead Management
• Respond to hot leads from Marketing or GPO Initiatives (Navista) to generate interest and lead to further opportunity
• Deal Negotiation
• Collaborate with deal modeling, finance, and proposal team to develop proposals and execute new business and give feedback/collect data on our stance in the market

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or applicable experience
• Hunter/business development mindset
• 5+ years experience in Healthcare Sales in Oncology or Urology ideally, or other specialty area
• Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at all levels of technical ability and expertise
• Ability and willingness to travel 50-75% of the time in the west territory
• A Covid-19 vaccination is required to be employed in this position. This includes either:
• 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine OR 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine
