Nature of Duties:
This position is of a clerical nature involving patients’ charts.
Specific Duties:
- Scan papers in patient charts according to CIS standards. Keep file room in order and continuously strive for utmost accuracy and timeliness of scanning documents and/or charts. Maintain the HIPAA privacy and security standards.
- Make and label new charts and maintain or repair the physical integrity of old charts.
- Deliver and/or forward all appropriate documentation to the necessary departments whether it is electronic or paper in a timely manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary for successful completion of the mission and goals of CIS and in concordance with its patient philosophy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma preferred.
- Ability to learn and maintain accuracy in filing procedures.
- Good Communication Skills.
