Schedule: Monday – Friday (0800-1600 OR 0900-1700)
Responsibilities include:
Assist in the management of day to day care delivered by RCAs.
Provide support and supervision to RCAs during care.
Collaborate with the care coordinator/ designate to ensure daily care needs are met.
Maintain the facility master schedule within CareCorp Seniors Services’ scheduling system.
Update employee schedules within the scheduling system to reflect assigned shifts, incentives, and attendance related events.
Schedule relief staff for planned and unplanned staffing vacancies.
Advise the Human Resources Department of all internal position vacancies and subsequent posting requirements.
Assist with internal posting procedures as directed.
Work in a confidential manner.
Ideal candidate will have:
Current registration with the BC Care Registry.
A minimum of two (2) years experience working in a long-term care setting as an RCA.
A minimum of two (2) years experience in an administrative support role (preferred).
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written & oral).
To mitigate the risk COVID-19 transmission among persons in our care, patients, residents and staff, an order under the Public Health Act was enacted to limit movement of staff between long-term care facilities. While this order is in place, staff are limited to working in only one (1) private long-term care hospital (facility), licensed long-term care facility, registered assisted living facility, stand-alone extended care hospital, or provincial mental health facility.
