Carecorp Seniors Services Looking for Scheduler (Full Time) at Vancouver, BC Full Time
CareCorp Senior Services is a trusted agency company who provides superior healthcare, food services, housekeeping and laundry service to long-term care facilities across BC.
We are currently looking for a permanent full-time scheduler, mainly to schedule relief staff for any sick call that come in from our front line workers.
This position requires you to complete your training period from our corporate office at Robson Street, Vancouver but after your training period you may work from home if you desire to do so.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits package.
Schedule: 4 days on-2 days off; 2:00pm-10:00pm
Responsibilities include:
Maintain the facility master schedule within CareCorp Seniors Services’ scheduling system.
Update employee schedules within the scheduling system to reflect assigned shifts, incentives, and attendance related events.
Update employee availability within the scheduling system.
Schedule relief staff for planned and unplanned staffing vacancies.
Advise the Human Resources Department of all internal position vacancies and subsequent posting requirements.
Assist with internal posting procedures as directed.
Assess staff utilization daily.
Advise facility management and the Human Resources Department of potential recruitment needs.
Work in a confidential manner.
Ideal candidate will have:
A post secondary diploma or combination of experience and training.
A minimum of two (2) years experience in an administrative support role (preferred).
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written & oral).
