At our recruitment agency, we are thrilled to present an outstanding opportunity on behalf of our client for the position of Primary Mental Health Clinical Lead.

The Clinical Lead Psychological Therapies Role Comprises Of

 Clinical oversight for the Primary Mental Health services delivered

 Provision of leadership, mentoring, support for the Primary Mental Health and Piki MH team.

Supporting and developing Primary mental health Care capability in the provision of psychological

therapies within the mental health services (using the stepped care approach), providing clinical

advice as required.

 Participating in the development of Mental Health services across the wider health sector (locally

and sub regionally and nationally).

 The Clinical Lead role includes triage oversight of primary mental health referrals and provision of clinical advice, support and case management to the Mental Health teams

 The role ensures oversight over all facets of clinical service provision, reflects best practice and is

underpinned by evidence based models of care and commitment to health equity for all.

Essential Skills, Knowledge And Experience

 Sound clinical background in Mental Health, preferably in primary care, locally, nationally and internationally

 Relevant clinical qualification and New Zealand registration with relevant professional body. Up to date knowledge of Mental Health services and modalities

 Extensive work experience in the Mental Health scope of practice

 Experience in clinical leadership and service coordination

 Good self-management skills and the ability to prioritise work load
