Principal Accountabilities:
Follow all Cargill Polies and Procedures.
Work and communicate well in a team environment.
Operations of packaging equipment.
Required to operate forklifts for line driving.
Input production data into SAP.
Monitor bag weights on scale.
Verify correct Lot codes on bags for accuracy and legibility.
Input production downtime information into RtDuet.
Collect samples/Perform quality testing.
Operator Care and Minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
Manual repalletizing/disposal of distressed product.
Perform change over tasks and Shift exchange tasks.
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
Housekeeping tasks.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Basic use of a computer
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice.
Must be able to operate machinery.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems.
Experience working in a production related work.
Forklift Certified.
High School diploma or Equivalent.
