Principal Accountabilities:

• Follow all Cargill Polies and Procedures.

• Work and communicate well in a team environment.

• Operations of packaging equipment.

• Required to operate forklifts for line driving.

• Input production data into SAP.

• Monitor bag weights on scale.

• Verify correct Lot codes on bags for accuracy and legibility.

• Input production downtime information into RtDuet.

• Collect samples/Perform quality testing.

• Operator Care and Minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.

• Manual repalletizing/disposal of distressed product.

• Perform change over tasks and Shift exchange tasks.

• Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.

• Housekeeping tasks.

• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.

• Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.

• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

• Basic use of a computer

• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation

• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice.

• Must be able to operate machinery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems.

• Experience working in a production related work.

• Forklift Certified.

• High School diploma or Equivalent.
