Job Purpose and Impact

The Research and Development Technical Services Specialist II will collaborate with a team to execute the business plan to meet business goals. In this role, you will identify and execute new business development projects, lead, prioritize and report on the associated portfolios and drive process improvements using available supporting tools and metrics. Will handle the customer facing, innovation journey across texturizers, starches, sweetness, and fats. Key Accountabilities

Develop strong customer relationships at Bakery key accounts.

Participate with sales and marketing leaders on customer segmentation and satisfaction, account planning and the use of salesforce.com and Stage-Gate process.

Support the application center, ensuring a safe working environment, food safety compliance, budget and resource management.

Provide technical support, identify new solutions to the customer, technical influencer to recommend the best solutions around our ingredient’s portfolio.

Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex projects.

Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field: Food Chemistry, Chemical, Food Engineer, Biochemical Engineer.

Excellen t verbal and written communication skills in English

Minimum of four years of related work experience in R&D, New Product Development, Technical Service on Bakery industry

Other minimum qualifications may apply Preferred qualifications

Ability to develop customer relationships and trust through technical knowledge and expertise

Bakery products applications, new ingredients on fats, starches, texturizers or sweeteners

Travel availability: Occasional traveling, mainly within Mexico but, internationally may be required.
