Senior Full Stack Software Engineers – React / Node / Go / AWS / MongoDB

As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking multiple talented Senior Full Stack Software Engineers to join our dynamic team, who are passionately interested in building highly scalable, event-driven components for our innovative real-time platform.

Employees can be based in either Los Angeles or San Francisco, CA, as these are hybrid-work model opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, high-quality software solutions for Cargomatic’s platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define and implement new features
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices using best practices
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in React.js, Node.js, Go, and other relevant technologies
• Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure the smooth deployment and operation of services on AWS
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, promoting a culture of learning and continuous improvement
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and proactively propose innovative solutions to enhance the platform.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 6-10+ years of professional experience in software development
• Strong technical expertise in React.js, Node.js, Go, AWS, and MongoDB
• Proven track record of building RESTful APIs and Microservices
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in writing efficient database queries and working with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experienced in Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies
• Domain knowledge in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain would be highly desirable.

The expected salary range for this role is $150,000 to $160,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
