This this is your opportunity to play an integral part in the way our products are built and deployed. Working in one of our collaborative squads, within our Consumer (Commercial)Tribe, you will get to experience all facets of the product lifecycle, roadmap and strategy.
The Consumer Tribe, in a nutshell, is our Carsales.com.au website across desktop, mobile and Apps, along with all our other verticals (bikes, boats, caravans, trucks, farms, construction, and international sites). The tribe also manages everything that supports the back end, and everything around the customer buying experience and product offerings.

What’ll you’ll do

• Understand and share expertise in engineering solutions to complex integration problems. Be deeply involved from product discovery to production.
• Develop and support the delivery of clean and concise solutions that are scalable across all our teams.
• Demonstrate understanding, motivations and expertise in managing a backlog of features, bugs and technical debt and effectively manage priorities. Help support the diagnosis of production issues when they happen.

What we are looking for?

• Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously)
• Understand and share expertise in architecting and building robust and scalable solutions across multiple tech-stacks.
• Develop and professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Demonstrate understanding, motivations and expertise in C#, .NET Core and have strong commercial knowledge of AWS, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript and Angular/ReactJS. You have built applications with SOLID and micro services principles.
