We are seeking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join our collaborative, high growth access devices organization based out of either our Sydney or Melbourne offices.

The Senior Software Engineer will impact the organization by collaborating with a team of experienced and talented engineers to deliver world-leading access device technology to a global customer base.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaboratively work with an experienced, capable team on the development of cutting-edge software for 5G devices.
• Research, design and implement new features and solutions.
• Perform in-depth analysis and resolution for the most challenging of technical issues.
• Support product quality through participation in peer code review, design review, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
• Proactively identify, champion, and implement improvements to software components and infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7 to 10+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python (or other scripting languages).
• Expert knowledge of Linux (embedded Linux preferred).
• Good knowledge of computer networking (IP networks, routing protocols, VPNs).
• Experience with digital data communications concepts and protocols, such as those based on ETSI standards and ITU standards (e.g. LTE (4G/5G), Ethernet, DSL, GPON) is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Experience with M2M/IoT is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Good knowledge of computer networking (IP networks, routing protocols, VPNs, WiFi, cellular networks).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptable and flexible attitude, able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
