We are seeking to hire a Software Engineer to join our collaborative, high growth organization located at our office based in Surrey Hills, Melbourne, Australia.

The Software Engineer will make an impact to the company through the development of software code for embedded access devices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop high-performance, reusable software for embedded Linux devices.
• Ensure product quality through participation in peer code review and development of unit testing.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to software components and infrastructure.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering field (electronics, software, computer science, etc.).
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong “C” programming skills.
• Experience in scripting languages (e.g. Lua, Shell, Python) preferred.
• Experience with Linux.
• Background in embedded Linux preferred.
• Agile and driven collaborator.
