Your challenge!
The Front Desk Administrator’s mission is to bring full collaboration and offer administrative support to the team. You welcome visitors and assist team members in their daily activities and in meetings. You also handle correspondence and manage calls, in addition to ensuring smooth operations and access to office supplies. You will also need to be able to function in a team-oriented environment and analyze customer and supplier documents. Finally, you maintain Cascades’ brand image in all your communications.
Individual responsibilities
- Greet, check-in, disperse, communicate, and direct all incoming truck and vendor traffic according to company policies.
- Maintain various logs as directed; this requires spreadsheet knowledge and skill.
- Administration duties as needed. Sort mail and scan all invoices and insurance documents. File as needed. Answering and forwarding all incoming phone calls to the correct person or department. Will need to communicate on a two-way radio to truckers and co-workers in the facility as well.
- Occasional lifting, bending, squatting, and reaching while retrieving supplies or components.
- Data entry associated with these duties.
- Communicate safety and security protocols and concerns. Control and monitor the cameras throughout the facility.
- Make sure the scale computers are up and working, and if there is a problem, look for a solution.
- Schedule Loads to other facilities in Appointment Plus software.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A good understanding of receiving and experience in a production environment is necessary.
- Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check.
- Must have basic computer knowledge and understanding.
