POSITION SUMMARY

Employee will be required to fully understand the day-to-day operations of effectively & systematically managing real-time supply & demand, inventory control, and integrated manufacturing schedules. Responsibilities include developing, communicating, and managing Global Shop scheduling module. This includes, but is not limited to, updating routers, managing work orders, training office/plant personnel, and being the project leader in Global Shop’s scheduling system.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Develop and manage Global Shop’s scheduling module
• Drive data accuracy both directly within the scheduling tools & all related departmental feeds required to support advanced production plans
• Manage multiple plant production schedules & integrated master plans with full transparency and comprehensive timelines for delivery both to internal departments and customers
• Develop and standardize scheduling models that deliver consistent product flow via Global Shop
• Coordinate with plant managers to ensure materials and labor demands are clearly recognized within the ERP system
• Lead the scheduling team to enhance cross-functional relationships supporting continuous improvement efforts
• Self-motivated with ability to accept responsibility and accountability to plan, organize and execute programs to accomplish objectives.

EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Preferred

• 5 years or more of ERP implementation work
• Experience with Global Shop is ideal but not required
• Comfort with approaching/learning a complex scheduling environment
• Experience in critical thinking & problem solving, from analysis to root cause identification, proposed solutions, to implementation
• Supply Chain Operations experience

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited University
• 2+ years Prior experience working within an ERP and advanced planning system (preferable knowledge of Global Shop Systems, but not required)
• Ability to audit completed jobs and process controls to identify areas for improvement
• Strong communication & change management skills
• Experience developing training plans
• Proficient in use of PC-based applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
