Job Description:

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

• Contribute to the design of leading edge mining technology!

Specific responsibilities include:

• Work in a small team, as part of a larger software delivery organization, to develop software, tested, on time and to requirements
• Provide accurate planning information at all stages of the software development life cycle to result in delivery of software on time and according to specifications.

Required skills and experience:

• Strong skills in .NET Core, C# and related technologies
• Experience developing APIs including exposure to various persistence technologies such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Elastic Search
• Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing and other testing techniques
• Able to learn and modify existing product code base to suit new features
• Strong communication skills working with local and remote teams
• Knowledge of software development best practices
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality
• Relevant engineering or IT degree

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience in Software Development using C++
• Exposure to using and building software for Linux
• Skills in mobile development (xamarin and android)
• Front-end web development experience is desirable including Angular or React, Typescript
