About the role:
Lead, develop and manage key elements of CBRE’s GWS Global Partner Excellence Program (PEP) in the Americas region. In this role, the successful candidate will lead all aspects of the GWS PEP in LATAM and North America and across all lines of business. Primarily this role will lead the following areas:
Ensuring compliance to the PEP Governance, working with key internal partners to set annual targets
Develop and implement the strategy and roadmap to continue to develop the PEP as a premier program
Lead and implement elements of the PEP, including our relationship strategies, Business Reviews, performance management, Innovation Challenge, Events and promotion of the program and its partners
Develop strategy and budget for program fees on an annual basis and work to ensure achievement of budget
Implement the process for nominating suppliers into the program, ensuring it is fit for purpose for all lines of business
Drive cross-business integration in PEP engagement
Use globally approved technology platforms to run all aspects of the PEP
Develop and deliver PEP communications to team members to ensure continued engagement to the program
Maintaining relationships with key supplier partners
Key Objectives
Establish annual (PEP) fees with procurement teams covering EA, DCS, Local, and PJM LoBs
Support design, preparation, and execution of GWS-EA Leadership Conference, including securing of $3M sponsorships from supplier partners
Lead all aspects of the PEP
Implement AMS Innovation Program and increase client awareness of the CBRE Supplier Innovation Program
Track supplier business reviews as per relationship strategies
Host AMS PEP Governance Committee meeting as a minimum every 2 months and integrate all LoBs including PM as applicable, to ensure compliance again the programs governance structure
Lead and improve Supplier Performance Management program in AMS
Developing processes, including training to ensure development of our partners in areas such as safety and quality
Ensure compliance with all CBRE and Supplier Partner program policies
Collaborate in global teams to ensure we have industry leading technology platforms for the global Supplier Partner Program
Measure program outcomes against goals, identify gaps, and implement corrective action to achieve the goals
Collaborate with all partners to align with business needs, current gaps, and corrective action
Design process to select the best suppliers to bring into the Partner program and help them develop into World Class companies to support our business
Collaborate with the global team to ensure Americas programs are in sync with the overall global program
Accountabilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure global alignment and cross-business engagement
Develop and implement communication plans that align with our CBRE global marketing and communications and ensure that all are engaged in the program
Lead cross-business and region teams in identifying and implementing PEP improvement opportunities
Become a trusted advisor to the multiple CBRE GWS business and client-support teams
Ensure compliance with CBRE Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence (RISE) values
Ensure the PEP are integrated into the business and deliver value aligned with business needs
Benchmark industry standard methodologies and innovations, and promote where applicable
Ensure Supplier Partners clearly see the value of the PEP and see CBRE GWS as their “Client of Choice” in the market
Communicate internally on supplier partner value propositions and supplier performance metrics
Ensure compliance with GWS policies and procedures when leading negotiations of supplier contracts needed to achieve CBRE’s objectives
Builds performance-based supplier relationships that lead to optimal pricing / programming, quality improvements, process improvements and delivery of world-class solutions
Identify and share technology, innovation, and trends with business to constantly improve service, drive efficiencies and product levels

What you’ll need:
Deep knowledge of ‘Smart Buildings & Services’ industry / procurement, design, data capture / driven programming including strengths/weaknesses of major suppliers, understanding of commercial drivers, insight into sector trends and strategies
Strong negotiation skills, strong contractual and commercial competence
Strong commercial competence and a proven track record of identifying and delivering meaningful savings
High-reaching and driven to succeed with abundant energy and passion
Superior influencing and interpersonal skills
Work with and influence a broad range of customers, and supplier staff at senior levels
Proficient analytical skills and a measured approach to decision-making
A collaborative approach with the ability to increase the short-term position while building long-term productive relationships
Able to plan and lead multiple change programs effectively
Fostering teamwork and demonstrating the highest level of professional and ethical standards in all supplier transactions
Qualifications
10+ years’ experience within building operations, procurement, SRM programs, and supplier management
Experience working in or handling suppliers, etc.
Proven ability to influence others from corporate leaders, suppliers, and other functional organizations
Strong skills and experience in leading cross-functional and cross-regional team
Facility management and project management experience/knowledge preferable
Results focus with delivering the program objectives
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $160,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $190,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
