About the role
Responsible for leading operations and administrative support for a business unit. Oversees budgeting, process improvement, controls for software and other functions enabling objectives to be met in an effective and efficient manner.
Candidates must be located within Charlotte, NC, Minneapolis, MN, Austin, TX, Des Moines, IA, or Atlanta, GA.
What you’ll do
Acts as key financial and logistical liaison and/or resource between management and the business unit. Works to identify, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve goals. Implements actions for improvement and practical solutions.
Responsible for the delivery of portfolio payment processes to support client real estate projects and services. Ensures process compliance and customer satisfaction.
Responsible for business metrics, strategic management of project resources, developing processes and standards to streamline business operations. Produces routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages and analyses.
Oversees submission of reports/requests. Compiles and reviews statistics and market data and adds commentary to complete analysis reports required for acquisitions, transitions and/or business proposals.
Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving inquiries and requests from internal and external clients. Develops project plans and costs, including personnel and fiscal requirements to achieve defined objectives. Provides updates relative to project resource and fiscal plans.
Leads and facilitates communication of standard processes, policies, procedures and initiatives to support field operations. Facilitates process improvement by engaging appropriate resources in issue identification and resolution.
May train new team members on policies, procedures, processes, administration and governance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors team members to further develop competencies.

Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from four year college or university plus a minimum of five years related work experience to include budgeting, finance and or business analytics; or equivalent combination of education & experience. Previous Team Lead or Supervisor related experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to present information. Ability to respond effectively to critical issues.
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires analytical and quantitative skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Spreadsheet skills to include functions such as graphics, pivot tables, macros and database management required.
Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve results. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project schedules.
