Reporting to one of ViacomCBS’ high profile entertainment anchors, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support, and act as a personal
assistant, ensuring all office and personal tasks are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Heavy calendar management and email correspondence
Heavy phone traffic, responding to questions, and directing callers to appropriate parties when necessary
Provide logistical support, arranging on and off site meetings
Coordinate travel , including flights, events, hotels, and car services
Maintain website and social media accounts to increase brand awareness and drive promotion
Liaison with other departments as required
Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks and projects as needed
Requirements:
1+ years of administrative experience including heavy calendar management
Strong time management skills; ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments, with a high degree of accuracy, and meet deadlines in a high pressure environment with limited direction and guidance
Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to use judgment to field inquiries professionally, efficiently, and anticipate needs
Prior basic research experience
Strong proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
Basic video skills, such as Final Cut or iMovie, preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in media related field preferred
