However, the candidate must come in to pick up his orher equipment on the first day at own expense.

A candidate or a vendorrepresentative must come in to drop off his or her equipment on the last day at ownexpense. This contractor is performing support functions for NCDOT informationtechnology systems on the Operations team.

This position also involves supportingcore platforms such as Tier 1 business applications such as HiCams, SPECS, DMVOnline Systems, Citrix, Identity and Access Management, security support systemsfor credit card processing, AMS, CRASH & MILES.

This position will be managed bythe IT Operations Manager.

The purpose of IT Operations is to provide advancedlevel support of all IT Systems. This position is responsible for advanced levelresponse and support for users of NCDOT computing and network services.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the administration, support, stability, and security ofenterprise systems, servers, and networks. The person in this role will ensureinfrastructure security and stability across all locations in the enterprise.

The positionwill support data center operations, server operations, advanced level support, webserver administration, system monitoring, incident response, 24x7x365 on-callsupport, and additional duties as assigned.

This position also involves supportingcore platforms such as Tier 1 business applications.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour
