Job Description:
-As a Bridge Practice Leader you will support the firm’s vision for Transformational Growth, and help implement our primary mission of providing clients with technically excellent work products, demonstrating ingenuity across the markets we serve, and building an employee experience that welcomes and retains the best, brightest, and boldest.
-You will be a global technical and sales cohort with the responsibility for growing the Bridge Practice through technical advancement, innovative applications, and luminescence.
-As a Practice Leader you will position us technically, ahead of a problem (or solution) being recognized in the marketplace, collaborate with the client service units, pre-position for major pursuits by identifying and showcasing our technical differentiators, grow sales with sales leaders and CCI project developers, as well as recruit and retain the best and brightest employees with the goal to hire 1-2 strategic hires each year.
-You will have personal involvement in the capture of high-profile strategic projects and be expected to achieve year-over-year CoP growth.
-You will lead the Bridge Practice group as well as connect and grow technical specialists and discipline leaders within the group with the full support of the Executive Leadership Team and Unit Presidents.
-Will provide oversight and expert technical direction on structural analyses and designs for reinforced concrete, structural steel, reinforced masonry, and other metal structures of high complexity to meet client project requirements.
-Directs the development of models, drawings, and specifications. Reviews draft designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and signs off on completed designs.
-Coordinates designs with other engineering disciplines. Ensures that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.
-Attends and presents at conferences, symposia, etc. to improve the visibility of the firm’s products and services in collaboration with applicable sales staff.
-Acts as the primary point of contact for external client and related industry contact.
-Collaborates with clients and government officials to clarify technical questions and updates project management as necessary.
-Performs other duties as required. Provides technical guidance and training to more junior staff. Mentors more junior staff and develops them for future growth within the discipline and firm. Supervises the work of all levels of engineers on project work.

Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
-Professional engineering (PE) license.
-15 years of related experience.
-Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
-Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
