We are currently looking to hire a Shop Hand to join our Team. The Shop Hand will report to the Branch Manager, based out of the Valleyview shop.
The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to be a self-motivated team player with a can-do attitude and looks forward to growing personally and professionally with CDN. Responsibilities:
- Completing pick-up and delivery of parts, materials, tools as required
- General shop maintenance and cleaning
- Preparing company trucks for work (cleaning, setting up tools, and decals as needed)
- Assisting with inventory counts when required
- General up keep at crew houses
- Introductory to Instrumentation and Electrical
- General Yard maintenance and cleanup
- Apprenticeship may be available for the right candidate
- Completing regular shop and fork lift inspections
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Diploma
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Steel toed work boots
- Fork Lift Ticket would be an asset
