Job Summary

Design, develop, administer, and supervise the implementation of programs, processes, and initiatives on CEMEX USA Business Unit; according to internal and external regulatory framework, the Business unit priorities, ERM platform, policies and normative. To supervise all business continuity and crisis management programs in business units, update ERM in the latest trends processes and design ERM training programs to keep our organization updated in the latest risk management trends and best practices; additionally, keep our systems updated and maintain our information on place. Support US management decision making through the identification, assessment, and follow up of most important risks that could impact strategic objectives or initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing, updating and follow-up the US strategic and operative / risk agendas
• Originate, recommend, and follow up on risk treatment measures
• Manage the Business Continuity and Crisis Management Program
• BC&CM, back office and support creating specialized protocols for RRT teams
• Participate in coordination with Legal, Internal control, security, and other functional areas of USA in audits, information management, threats identification and evaluations to ensure the well-being of the business units
• Participate in the design and implementation of the ERM & Security platform and adapt the processes and protocols for USA to guarantee the integrity of the personnel, information, facilities, and assets
• Implement and ensure the observance of incident Management and Business Continuity Plan initiatives in USA business units
• Create and maintain databases on competitors and key executives as well as competitive intelligence.
• Liaison as necessary with other organizations and relevant authorities, and assistance and cooperation, maintaining a strong relationship with internal and external networks

Qualifications

• Master in Finance or MBA required
• 3 – 5 years relevant experience
• CPA or CFA is a plus

• Bachelor degree preferred
• 3 – 5 years relevant experience
• Construction industry experience strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data
• Data collection and intelligence analysis

Working Conditions

• Capable to work extended hours as needed
• Capable of working in an open concept office environment

• Walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
• Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
