Position Purpose: The Program Manager, Internal Mobility and Succession guides our process related to how we intentionally move talent across the enterprise and how we plan for the future. Their role is to establish the practices and cadences by which we perform these activities across the organization and guide them accordingly. This role will have to be connected to other parts of our function in order to successfully drive outcomes as well as be able to balance both business needs and employee aspirations.
Lead and execute Centene’s internal mobility and succession processes.
Continue to enhance our tools, resources, and capabilities so that we are driving industry-leading practices in this space.
Continually solicit feedback and evaluate progress to proactively drive improvements in this space.
Establish relationships across the organization to bring in diverse perspectives and ultimately drive the utilization and adoption of talent processes.
Develop the appropriate change management approaches when changes occur to enable organizational adoption.
Partner with digital team to embed our tools and frameworks into our HCM and eventually allow that system to drive insights.
Research best practices and trends in this area, including methodologies and technology enhancements, and make recommendations to continuously improve our offerings.
Leverage our Talent Partners to leverage our frameworks and tools within the business, talent conversations, and talent decisions.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, related field, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years project implementation, product or program management experience.
Managed care or prescription benefit management experience preferred.
