Successful applicant will join a team of IT professionals specialised in the writing and configuring code for new and upgraded solutions in accordance with technical specifications. The team is responsible for developing efficient and accurate extracts and reports utilising multiple advanced technologies.
Based in Sydney, NSW, Brisbane, QLD, or Melbourne, VIC, the Software Engineer I is responsible for writing code, testing and debugging new software, making enhancements to existing software from clear requirements. You will participate in code reviews and identifying basic issues or deviations from best practices and developing knowledge of assigned solution, technologies, development processes and ecosystem.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems or similar field or 4 years related work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CCL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, JQUERY, HTML, CSS is a plus
- At least 1 years’ Programming work experience
Expectations:
- Ability to travel dependent upon organizational requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed
- Ability to learn and apply new technical skills and concepts quickly
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to follow processes outlined for the team / Organisation
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
