Position Description:

• Work for a global IT and business consulting firm
• Join a collaborative development team delivering digital transformation projects and associated support services to Government clients
• Develop your consulting skills and help clients translate their business needs into citizen-centric services
• Comprehensive training is provided in order for you to become a specialist in an enterprise automation and case management platform
• Develop problem-solving skills across a variety of technologies in the application server layer (security and cloud)
• Flexible work arrangements. Work from client site, our Sydney office and remotely.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Help deliver effective and professional digital transformation solutions to our clients
• Provide exceptional customer service in both development and support roles
• Respond to technical incidents and issues
• Perform software product upgrades.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 2+ years of experience in application development/ support using technologies such as JavaScript and/or Groovy Script
• Experience using HTML and Java
• Good working knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
• Experience working on configuration driven tools with custom code extensions highly regarded
• A proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of an inclusive team
• Full permanent work rights for Australia

Knowledge, experience or a willingness to learn the following skills will be required:

• Scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Unix shells.
• Server-side programming languages: Oracle PL-SQL or Microsoft T-SQL
• Application server software such as Tomcat
• Azure administration.
