Job Description

Champion Air is looking for an Assistant Payroll HR Controller that has previous experience in Service Titan, ADP, and Quickbooks. As planned, in the past couple of years, Champion Air’s revenue has grown 7x. This position is not designed as a transitional opportunity – it is a rare opportunity where authority, responsibility, and funding provide the basis to continue building the best of the best. This position directly reports to the Controller.

What Will I Do?

• Be a leader.

• Utilize your experience to elevate the organization.
• Ensure billing is correct and payments are recorded properly.
• Utilize QuickBooks software to record monthly distributor billing details for payment processing
• Prepare, post, and verify technician timecard sheets with managers within Service Titan and export to ADP.
• Audit prepared payroll entries consisting of commission, piece rate, and bonus structures within company practices; submit payroll to ADP.
• Maintain and update employee files, including filing, benefits management, and data entry into software programs of Service Titan, ADP, and GPS Tracking.
• Lead the Purchasing Department with financial insight and audit assistance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What Experience is Required?

• Progressive, Tenured, and Consistent Experience in an HVAC, or similar, company with demonstratable knowledge of QuickBooks, ServiceTitan, and ADP software.
