CHANEL Looking for IT Manager at Gustavo A. Madero, Ciudad de México, México Full Time

Responsible for all IT relevant issues of the company including strategizing, planning, building and running of all IT components.

As a member of the management team, the IT Sr. Manager participates in the definition of the company strategy and ensures the IT part of its execution is aligned with the strategy.

This position will also be responsible for the IT Operative planning and budget, employee development, delivery of demand and projects, ensuring smooth operation, following information security requirement and the supplier relations within the IT department.

Functions:

• Business enabling: Contribute to strategic discussions concerning the company and evaluate alternatives, set up company’s goals and participate in development of ideas for the progress of business with strong IT-connection, represent IT in board meetings and execute the company’s strategy. Define and implement a strategic technology plan that allows directing the actions of the area in the medium and long term, in order to meet the changing needs of the business.
• IT strategy: Define and execute the IT strategy based on local, regional business strategy and global IT initiatives (in co-operation with local business, regional business, central/regional IT). Ensure that the need and demands of the business are met. Set up an IT roadmap based on the local demand in line with the regional ITS strategy. Ensure IT and business are aligned at country/region level. Define and manage IT landscape, long term system portfolio and methods in order to achieve synergies, efficiency, and standardization and deliver results.
• Financial management: Responsibility for the country’s IT budget. Take part in company’s operative planning and decision-making process which impacts budget. Ensure achievement of financial objectives (adherence to local and central budget targets). Ensure local demands are being met cost-effectively by combination of local and central solutions.
• Personnel management: Implement definition of roles and responsibilities and ensure continual optimization thereof. Establish and manage the IT-Support organization for the business areas. Develop IT organization, manage recruitment, and oversee personnel development (training requirements, career counseling, job rotation, internal communication and motivation, etc.)

Experience requiered:

Management experience in IT (strategy development, financial planning and controlling), IT Service Management (Business Requirements, IT Services, SLAs etc.), previous experience in leadership of major international projects, Contract negotiations with internal and external suppliers, High degree of customer orientation, team spirit and motivation.
