Overview of Position
The Benefits Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day support and oversight of the administration of Change Healthcare’s domestic Health and Welfare, Retirement, and Wellness programs. Responds to questions and inquiries from employees and business leaders relating to the company’s benefit plans. Oversees all spending and retirement account funding files ensuring accuracy and timeliness
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Manage process initiatives to drive operational excellence and exceptional customer service in the management and operation of domestic employee benefit programs (Health and Welfare, Retirement, and Wellness), policies and procedures
Oversee and maintain continuous process, systems and integration improvements in response to administrative and operational modifications and changes
Administrative tasks include handling of escalations from various groups and channels, integration and funding file processing and error handling
Review and process funding files
Completion and submission of various forms (Medicare, QMCSO, etc.), processing Educational and Adoption Assistance requests and Death benefits
Decisions will be guided by policies, procedures, business plans, and guidance from Benefits COE team
Provides technical guidance to employees and colleagues, and facilitates coordination of administration of benefits with all vendors
What are the requirements needed for this position?
4+ years of experience in benefits administration and vendor management.
Excellent MS Office/Excel skills
Strong technical knowledge of HRIS, Benefit systems, integrations and other systems used in the administration of employee benefits
Subject matter expert in employee benefit operations, to include Health and Welfare and Retirement plans
Strong Understanding of business processes including payroll and benefit billing processes
Ability to analyze or review data or data files for errors or inconsistencies and take appropriate action when detected
Strong technical knowledge of HRIS, Benefit systems, integrations and other systems used in the administration of employee benefits
