Job Title: Conference & Banqueting Assistant

Responsible to: C&B Manager, Hotel Manager, Duty Manager

Main Purpose for the Job:

We are seeking an exceptional Conference & Banqueting Assistant to support the C&B as well as restaurant team on functions, events and around the hotel.
All Conference & Banqueting personnel will strive to achieve 100% customer satisfaction levels and are dedicated to achieving service excellence. Achieving Service Excellence means delivering a level and consistency of customer care that constantly exceeds customer expectations

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Punctually attend work with a high standard of personal appearance and uniform.
• Take food & beverage orders in a consistent, uniformed and professional manner.
• To be able to carry crockery, place settings and glassware in the appropriate standard while serving food & beverage following the correct etiquette.
• To be aware of the laws involving service of alcohol.
• To be a team player.
• Complaints handling.
• Use initiative while carrying out day to day duties so that we provide the best possible product and service to our guests at all times. Always be on the look out to improve our customer’s experience.
• Ensuring all hotel policies and regulations are adhered to.
• Ensure all safety precautions are in place and to notify your manager of any potential problems that may arise.
• To clear tables to the specified standard of the hotel.
• To be actively aware of the condition of the public toilets and all other public areas.
• To carry out any other duties / specific projects as requested by senior management.
• To make known any discrepancies or misgivings of any nature top the manager on duty
