JOB SUMMARYDesign accessibility-based products and features that directly impact theconsumer experience. Involved in architecting innovative solutions. Subjectmatter expert for multiple programs/systems. Diagnose highly complex issuesand evaluates, recommends, and executes the best resolution.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESActively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance thecustomer experience.Architect, review, and harden QA testing plans that both meet businessgoals and ensure a positive user experience that meets standards.Lead the UI/UX and developments teams to support standards, defineapplication interactions, perform usability and Accessibility testing, aswell as advise developers on technical solutions.Work within cross-functional team to understand expectations, priorities,and necessary deliverables.Design, implement, monitor, enhance, and troubleshoot design ideas,along with fellow team members.Lead brainstorming sessions, and wireframe and design reviews to help solveproblems.Ensure alignment of the implementation of Accessibility standards acrossvarious products and platforms.Mentor and guide Designers and Developers on proper standards.Identify opportunities to make accessibility more innovative while maintainingthe health of the product, feature, and relationship with clients.Advocate for accessibility as it pertains to customer experience within theorganization.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write, speak and understand English.Demonstrated in-depth understanding of WCAG 2.1 Levels A and AADemonstrated in-depth Accessibility understanding and practices to digitalapplications in order to innovate from concept to launchDemonstrated in-depth knowledge of platform specific nomenclatureAbility to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage AccessibilityworkEffective time management skills and the ability to be self-directed whenneededEffective client (presentation) communication skills and the ability topresent and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)Effective written and verbal communication skillsEffective analytical and troubleshooting abilitiesRequired EducationBachelor’s Degree in Design / HCI / Related Field, or equivalent realworld experienceRequired Related Work Experience and Number of Years7+ years of Accessibility experience, with at least 60% focus on testing5-8 years of Experience with industry standard Accessibility technologies(such as screen-readers, screen-magnifiers, speech-dictation, etc.)Experience with creating highly-detailed annotated wireframes, user flows,and process flows within consumer applicationsExperience with project estimationExperience with planning and facilitating user research and usability testswith disabled usersPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred EducationMaster’s DegreeWORKING CONDITIONSOffice environmentMPD643 318551 318551BRHere, employees don’t just have jobs, they build careers.
