Summary: Performs a variety of clerical duties in connection with preparing, compiling and maintaining patient and hospital records in nursing service unit. Coordinates activities in unit such as scheduling patients tests as ordered by physician. Performs other clerical and accommodative services to assist the nursing staff. Transcribes physicians orders onto unit records and files for nursing personnel. Prepares requisitions ordering laboratory tests, x-ray exams, blood tests and consultations requested by the physician. Orders medications and supplies for pre/post operative patients. Regularly performs function of unit receptionist.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Licensure: N/A
Experience: 3-6 months experience as a receptionist or secretary.

Location: CharterCARE Health Partners · 6151-Telemetry – Loc 1
Schedule: Part Time regular (40-63 hrs), 1, 7a-7:30p
