New Opportunities for experienced Chefs who have worked in fast paced pub/hotel hospitality environments to work in rural/remote areas of the Hunter Valley.
 
The Role: 

• Prepare ingredients, cook and present food in accordance with menus and restaurant standards
• Responsible for restaurant and food production across all meal periods, functions, and events
• Strong understanding of produce, stock control and kitchen equipment
• Keep and order food, kitchen supplies and equipment as required
• Clean and sanitise cooking equipment and surfaces in according with health and safety and health department regulations
• Account for fresh and packaged produce received by the business
• Assist in the preparation of menus, recipes and new initiatives  
• Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times

Requirements:

• AQF Certificate III or equivalent qualification
• A minimum 3 years full time work experience as a Chef
• Experience working collaboratively in a busy kitchen
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing food quality and presentation standards
• Be available to work any day over a 7-day roster period
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude

Pay & Conditions

• Salary between $70,000 – $75,000 + super depending on experience
• Full time employment with a minimum of 38 hours each week
