Warehouse Operative

Chelsea Textiles is looking for a Full Time Warehouse Operative to join our team in our warehouse and headquarters in Secaucus, New Jersey.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities for Hands On Warehouse Operative:

• Previous experience working in a busy warehouse with knowledge of logistics.

• Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, warehouse manager and sales team in the New York showroom.

• Prepare mainly furniture orders for delivery.

• Receiving and handling mainly furniture deliveries, unloading of containers and pallets.

• Preparation necessary for stock control and yearly inventory.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse.

• Familiar with programs like Outlook and Excel.

The ideal candidate will have great initiative, work well in a small team and willing to help out where needed. Must be punctual and reliable with good time keeping.
