Chesapeake Hospitality is seeking a proven and dynamic Complex General Manager to oversee the day to day operations of the Wyndham and Courtyard Gettysburg.

The Wyndham and Courtyard Gettysburg hotels are next to each other in the Gateway Gettysburg campus with easy access to Gettysburg’s historic district. The Wyndham features 248 stately rooms and suites, farm-fresh cuisine and 61,000 sq ft of meeting space. The Courtyard features 148 rooms, 4 suites, 4 meeting rooms and 2,027 sq ft of meeting space.

As a Chesapeake Hospitality Complex General Manager, your responsibilities will be to lead and effectively manage all hotel functional areas (Food and Beverage, Rooms, Sales, Human Resources, Accounting, and Maintenance) to maximize financial performance while upholding quality standards and maximizing the guest experience. This will include developing strategies, marketing plans, operational goals, and ensuring that business decisions are in line with the company’s mission, values, and guiding principles.
What will make you the ideal Complex General Manager for this unique hotel?
Experience managing boutique hotels in downtown locations
A proven track record of delivering outstanding guest experiences for transient and corporate guests
Ability to take full-service hotels of similar size and character to greater heights and make them market leaders
Proven aptitude to communicate and bridge relationships with guests, employees, corporate, ownership, the community and stakeholders
Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of cutting-edge sales, e-commerce and revenue management practices
Verified experience managing heavy Food & Beverage operations
