Chevalier Wholesale Produce Limited Hiring for Processing Team Member Job at Avondale Full Time

Chevalier Wholesale Produce has been in the business for 50 years. We service to hotels, restaurants, bars and cafes throughout Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Tauranga and Taupo.

We are currently on the lookout for some extra help for our processing team at our Auckland Branch.

The shifts for this role will begin around 6-7am and finish around 3-4pm depending on how much work there is.

Applicants must be available to work up to 6 days a week if needed.

This position will start as a CASUAL position. However, if you prove yourself to be a great asset to the business who has the tenacity to help make the company better then a permanent position may be offered.

Based at our Avondale site, the suitable applicant will need to:

• Be available to work any shifts that we may require
• Have reliable transport to get to and from work
• Be willing to learn and work machineries such as the potato machine, grater, slicing and dicing machine, vacuum sealing and numerous manual handling
• Have the ability to lift up to 20kg
• Be punctual and willing to learn

Salary: From $21.20 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
