This Behavioral Health Integration Manager will be responsible for:
Integration and Clinical Support
Consulting with practices on a full-scope of implementation tasks, including: recruitment and hiring, credentialing and contracting, and clinical and business operations (e.g., clinical processes, workflow, revenue cycle management).
Ensuring that integrated BHCs are oriented and trained to meet the needs of the children and families served by each practice, consistent with the mission and philosophy of the PPOC.
Supporting the practice’s integration with the local and regional community-based BH system of agencies and services.
Building relationships and collaborating with area providers and agencies to support the continuity of care with the medical home.
Providing training, support, and guidance to integrated BHCs on topics including: best practices for integrated care, the provision of short-term, evidence-based behavioral health interventions, and collaborating with physicians and other members of the medical home team.
Staying current on third-party reimbursement relevant to the program, and educating clinicians on billing practices, and community care system including providers, state agency (i.e. DMH, DCF, DPH) programs and service options.
Personnel Management & Support
Helping drive a program culture of mutual support, respect, personal responsibility, empowerment, and continuing creative improvement of staff skills, and program services. Providing regularly scheduled clinical supervision and mentor BHCs working in PPOC practices.
Serving as a clinical instructor for BHIP CME/CE programs. Monitoring and ensuring quality of care in service delivery, risk assessment, coordination of care and documentation.
Supporting integrated BHCs professional & career development through training, and appropriate opportunities for advancement. Fostering teamwork through direction, example, utilization of staff meetings, and supervision.
To qualify, you must have:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy and five years of experience including a minimum of two years of supervisory experience is required.
Experience with integrated care is highly-desirable.
Clinical experience with a child focus required.
Cognitive and intellectual capacity to comprehend and administer organization & program policies and procedures.
Personal and intellectual ability to collaborate and organize effectively, understand and work with complex systems.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle, and capacity to travel between office locations in the region.
Current Massachusetts state licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist or Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
This position will cover the South Region and the PPOC office is located in Wellesley.
