• In collaboration with medical and surgical teams, for managing the care of critically ill neonates on the surgical service of a 30 bed tertiary care Level III/IV NICU including pre-operative and post operative management, ICU care such as pain and sedation management, cardio-respiratory failure, enteral and parenteral nutritional support, gastrointestinal diseases, congenital/genetic anomalies as well as many other medical and surgical diagnosis in infants who span the age range from premature to 6 months after their due date.

• In collaboration with neonatology team, consult on infants in the Cardiac ICU and other areas of the hospital, advising on comprehensive management across a wide range of diagnoses, gestational and chronologic ages, and treatment modalities.

To qualify, you must have:

• Neonatal NP or Certified Acute Care Pediatric NP preferred, Physician Assistant candidates accepted

• Level III NICU or critical care experience preferred

• Surgical or cardiology advanced knowledge and experience preferred

• 40 hours/week, day time position with starting time as early as 6:30 am.

*Sign-on bonus of $5,000.00 for hires (who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years.)
