As an organisation responsible for improving the lives of everyone in our community, the role of a Recruitment Partner plays an integral role in ensuring the organisation recruits the best people to achieve everything for the City.
Reporting to the Manager Recruitment, you will work with a bunch of experienced and dedicated professionals who value teamwork, communication and having a good laugh.
What Will You Do
As a Recruitment Partner, you will manage your own portfolio, partnering with leaders across diverse groups utilising your flexible approach and openness to new ideas and solutions to drive great business outcomes. You will empower your hiring managers by helping them understand the recruitment lifecycle, supporting them through the process and ensuring the decisions they make are the best ones.
We get involved in taking job briefs, advert writing, running assessment centres, arranging and conducting interviews and the delivery of training courses as well as providing advice across all areas of HR. We can guarantee a varied workload where you will have the autonomy and freedom to determine what your day looks like.
About You
You will be someone down-to-earth and pragmatic, who loves people as this is at the core of what we do. You will be fun, engaging and with a great sense of humour, and can demonstrate the following:
- Previous recruitment experience within an agency or as an internal recruiter
- Experienced relationship management and comfortable working across multi-disciplinary teams at all levels.
- Well organised and able to handle a shifting and varied workload.
- Be a creative thinker and proactive problem solver
- A strong service-ethic

Additional Information
Hours of work –Fixed Term role to November 2024. 35 to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Location – This position is primarily based at the Christchurch City Council Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street.
