The Greater Christchurch Partnership is a longstanding broad partnership that brings together health, mana whenua, local, regional and central government working collaboratively for the prosperity of Greater Christchurch. In 2022 an Urban Growth Partnership, the Whakawhanake Kainga Komiti, was also established to align with the Governments Urban Growth Agenda.
In this role, you will support the Director, Greater Christchurch Partnership to ensure full delivery of the Greater Christchurch and Whakawhanake Kainga programme of work by creating and maintaining critical relationships with both internal and external parties, providing expert advice to programme members, preparing and collating governance reports and manage all programme coordination to ensure successful delivery and outcomes.
This role is responsible for the day to day operational functions of the secretariat and to support governance structures while efficiently delivering on the work programme.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong experience in complex governance environments, relationship management, delivering advice, and leading and coordinating programme activities. You will be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines, have strong administrative and organisational skills and be skilled at achieving outcomes working across a range of partner organisations. You will demonstrate your key ability to understand business implications, inter-project dependencies and feel comfortable communicating changes.

Additional Information
Hours of work – Monday to Friday, 40 hors per week (some out of standard work hours may be required at times)

Location – This position is primarily based at the Christchurch City Council Civic Ofices
