The Financial Management Unit operates as a Shared Services to other groups and units within the Council and this role will work within a team responsible for managing and processing all the Council’s receivables and transactional banking activities.
About The Role
As a Receivables and Banking Officer you are responsible for collecting all the Council’s accounts/debts (except rates) using specific systems. You will ensure that as far as possible, all accounts are collected efficiently, cost effectively and in a fair and professional manner. Your responsibilities include:

Hours of work – 37.5 hours per week
Location – This position is primarily based at Te Hononga, Christchurch City Council Civic Offices – 53 Hereford Street
