Your Role
As part of a small and friendly team, you will help to build and execute the processes to provide insight and governance over the Ciena Service business in APJ. The role provides an opportunity to build a good knowledge of these processes and assist in the development of the new franchise model recently introduced in Ciena Services.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the operational processes such as revenue assurance, project governance, business efficiency
- Track and report on various operational and project management activities
- Enable the APJ franchise community as consumers of tools and templates
- Support role community enablement (customer success, project management, technical)
- Create and maintain specific communications to share best practices and successes across the franchises, with internal cross functional teams and global communities
- Gather feedback from key stakeholders to measure Business Operations effectiveness and input into key focus areas and execution priorities
- Maintain SharePoint and other collaboration tools with timely updates and content
- Support organizational development through employee engagement activities, skills mapping, change management
- Collaborate effectively across various cross-functional & global teams
Minimum requirements:
- Strong communication skills (English language verbal & written)
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, with strong prioritization and organizational management
Preferred requirements:
- Highly developed team centricity and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships
- Working knowledge of Sharepoint and other collaboration tools an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Willingness to work flexible hours due to the time zones across APJ and globally
