About you

• 5 years+ of professional experience in software development and delivery including:

• Professional experience in software development and delivery

• Professional experience with software testing for Unity3D

• Professional experience with software testing for Web APIs

• Experience with Test Driven Development and CI/CD Pipelines

• Professional experience with Cloud development and deployment

• Experience with GIT version-control software & Agile Development desirable

• Experience with Microsoft Azure desirable

Your role in the team

EIC Activities is now looking across Australia for a Software Testing Engineer to join our Virtual Builder team based in Australia . In this role you will support a cutting-edge multi-discipline team in solving problems for major construction project delivery via the intersection of AEC (Architecture Engineering and Construction) software precision tools, web based common environments, and 3D game simulation and gamification of construction planning and execution.

As a Software Testing Engineer , you will be part of a team formed to create a new software product to combine models and information from various existing digital engineering disciplines, with operational construction talent to plan and execute virtual construction tasks to help deliver world class projects.

• Implement and maintain a testing framework for Unity3D

• Implement and maintain testing frameworks for backend systems

• Integrate automated testing as a component of the CI/CD Pipeline

• Implement and maintain a systems health dashboard

• Develop and maintain higher level tests of several types e.g., smoke, end-to-end

• Collaborate with the programmers to develop testing patterns for the existing systems and maintain test coverage.
