About the opportunity

In this newly created role, we are looking for a QA Lead to define test strategies and standards to ensure that our product being released is world class. You’ll be responsible for developing and improving the QA function by implementing best practices as well as providing guidance and leadership to the QA function. CIN7 centrally manages inventory across multiple locations and channels, connecting 500+ systems to support receiving, selling and shipping stock. We are looking for people who are passionate about working with a fast growth tech company.

What you’ll do

• Lead and support the testing effort for multiple cross functional scrum teams
• Set and ensure clear testing governance and quality control standards are followed consistently
• Manage manual testing processes for applications with low levels of automated coverage and work effectively to raise levels of test automation maturity
• Demonstrate your strong written and verbal communication skills and to understand and manage stakeholder expectations
• Define testing strategies to ensure the product being released is up to industry and company standards.
• Create testing plans, including individual testing phases, and ensure the team meets the deadlines set forth in those plans.
• Identify risk and create plans to mitigate it.

What you’ll bring

As an experienced QA Lead you’ll be experienced improving a QA practice and be able to implement best practice. You’ll have the ability to review our current processes and look to ways we can improve in both practice and with the tools.

Your experience should also include:

• A minimum of 5 years testing experience with at least two years leadership experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across teams
• Experience in an agile environment is essential
• Self motivation with passion, drive and the ability to deliver
